In 2013, Executive Director, Lindsay MacDonald formed the dress for success with an aspiration of a world where all women are financially independent. The program is dedicated to providing guidance, mentorship, and support to primarily women in the community of Kingston and surrounding areas.
The company pairs women with stylists who are skilled to find the perfect outfit for the interview, for the job, dress for success, arranged for her. The woman supplies a resume and Dress for Success will do the rest. The organization uses their best ‘ headhunter ’ techniques to scout the perfect interview that has the highest chance of being a secure career for the individual.
College is stressful enough as it is financially that when it comes to extra purchases, such as clothes, is not always an option. This is an ability many women face not being financially dependent, which can deteriorate confidence and affect your presence in the interview.
